Limitarianism: The Case Against Extreme Wealth
Guest lecturer: Prof. Ingrid Robeyns, Utrecht University, followed by a panel discussion.
In her lecture, leading philosopher and economist Ingrid Robeyns exposes the true extent of wealth as a social-ecological issue. Based on her recent bestselling book Limitarianism: The Case against Extreme Wealth, she will outline in moral, political, economic, social, environmental and psychological terms why extreme wealth is not only unjustifiable but harmful to us all - the rich included. Both lecture and subsequent panel discussion will focus on the implications of extreme wealth for climate inequality.
