Teaching and pedagogical activities
My present teaching concerns theories for the study of social problems and social work, social gerontology and eldercare.
Served as the director of studies for the PhD-program in social work 2013-2018.
Currently (2024) suvervising 5 PhD-candidates and have acted as supervisor for 10 PhD-candidates who have graduated.
Member of the pedagogical committee of the National Graduate School on Ageing and Health (SWEAH).
Appointed as "Recognised Teaching Practitioner" at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Lund University.
Published several books that are used as course literature in social work.
Research
My main research interests are images of ageing and ageism, social problems of older people, user involvement and different aspects of eldercare.
